Student Success Presentation Request
Student Success is happy to deliver success presentations designed to address common academic challenges that college students face. The presentations are planned and facilitated by Success Coaches and First-Year Programs Staff. We are happy to collaborate with any faculty or instructor teaching any course at any level. Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) are welcome to request an academic presentation as well.

Support Beyond the Syllabus
Most effective when scheduled between weeks 2 and 8
Each presentation includes a short community building activity and either a presentation on Success Teams (all resources) or a presentation highlighting one or two Success Team resources.
Minimum presentation time is 30 minutes. Instructors can choose longer activities and more in-depth presentations on Success Team resources.
Success Team Spotlight Options:
- OPTION ONE: Overview of all Success Team resources
- OPTION TWO: Overview of ONE or TWO Success Team resources
Each lab includes a short community building activity and a presentation listed below.
Minimum presentation time is 30 minutes. Instructors can choose to have longer presentations and activities.

Remix options are available only when a Shocker Spark or Learning Lab has been scheduled.
Community Activity Options:
- Lunch and Learn | Lunch (taco/pasta/potato/salad bar etc.), resource announcements, and game show/trivia game/activity.
- Bowling or Cosmic Bowling | Two hours of Cosmic Bowling on Friday/Saturday night between 5-10 p.m. in Shocker Grill and Lanes .
- Movie Night with Snacks | Movie of your choice, could relate to course content. Students can bring pillows/blankets.
- Service Project | Work with Student Success to create a service project or choose one from a list. All supplies or expenses covered, within budget restrictions.
